Realized I haven't been blogging for almost a year. Wow. Time really flies man... and unknowingly, I'm older by one yr again..haiz... Work is very very busy and stressful. So tired from work that this year with Cha is quarrel-free. Cuz too tired to even think of counter-argument, haha! Nan-de these two days on mc so have some personal time to update my long-abandoned blog.

Work
Well...working in my current bank has its pros and cons.. pros is that I get to learn a lot of practical stuff and my time was kept fully occupied so that I won't be distracted by other worries in life. And I'm pretty well-accepted within the group, which I'm not sure whether I can adapt in other work environment if I were to switch jobs. Cons: people here tend to be more selfish. For instance...this week is the only time I took MC in nearly these 1.5 years...and one collic kept complaining she might not be able to cope and too much work and blah blah...depsite another collic of mine ST assured that she could help out. Sibei sian... This is what team-work is for, right? I take MC to rest cannot meh? I was coughing my lungs out when I went to work yesterday! No sympathy at all...To think I had no complains when that same collic took ten days off for her wisdom tooth extraction (not to mention she chose a Monday to operate, so can get 5-day MC) and for her HFM disease. I never complained once lor... :(

The only good thing that I gained from this new job is knowing this collic ST de...if everyone is as giving and understanding as her...she's the only regret I will have if I decide to quit this job...as she will have to cover my jobs and retrain new staff again...hmm

Have been wanting to quit my job since March.. cuz work has gotten too stressful for me to bear. But knowing that my house would be here soon, and need more $$ to renovate, I forced myself to stay till at least June so that I could get my well-deserved bonus. But then again, honeymoon is in early July and my house would be ready in mid July... and given my workload has become more bearable these few weeks, I have decided to postpone my resignation.  And also just got promoted barely 1.5 years into the job... means my boss actually recognised my effort and hard work, at least won't feel so unbalanced... But die die must leave in the year of dragon...cuz this is a good year to change job ma...haha..

Next move: Should I return to government sector or switch to another, hopefully better bank? Still considering and depending on the opportunities open to me. Hmm..

Wedding

Got married on 30 October 2011, at Orchid Country Club. Super nervous that day, as I have to face almost 600 guests that day and I don't know almost half of them.. super scary and my mind was a blank the whole evening. But very happy that most my relatives made the effort to come down for the dinner from as far as Ipoh, KL, JB and Brunei... So touched...the wedding went on pretty smoothly thanks to all brothers and sisters help! Dunno what to do without them, the organization of the entire day's program was superb!  Also blessed with really good weather that day although the rest of the week was pretty wet. Although I cannot remember a lot of my wedding details, this is still a memorable milestone for me to commemorate for the rest of my life....

Wedding album pics were taken in Taiwan... very enjoyable as well and super impressed with their makeup and hairstyling skills. Two thumbs up! Too bad they cannot really understand English and Cha had a really tough time communicating with them -_-" and our first co-ordinator sucks cuz she was sacked and left us lots of shit to clear before we went to Taiwan! Dun really recommend Taiwan bridal shoots unless u have lots of time in the world to Ding Dong with them... The photo selection process over email was also pretty torturous. Lucky the photos turned out beautiful! =)

Post Wedding - Penang Trip (3 Nov - 6 Nov 2011)

I  remember the first thing I did the following two days after my wedding was to rebond my hair... cuz my hair was so thick and unmanageable. I dunno where I heard it from, but I was not supposed to cut my hair or rebond my hair for my wedding as the hairstylist would have difficulty styling too layered or smooth hair.. this is all crap and untrue. How I wished I have cut my hair before my wedding, so my bun wun look so thick...hmm...

Then we embarked on our first post-wedding trip to Penang! Weee~~ food, food and food... Regardless of the place, as long as its travelling with Cha it's paradise! Really slack and enjoyable trip... its just food and nothing else... and we love Gurney Drive! And we hired a taxi chauffeur to cater to our transportation needs...haa...The Ayam Laksa there was really yummy..but so many flies flying ard...hygiene wise, failed! All in all, the trip was Enjoyable and Affordable, we'll be there again!

Honeymoon (7 July - 15 July)

We 'll be going to Maldives!!! woo hoo!! Burning a big hole in our pockets, but for our one and only honeymoon, we go all out!! yeah! Beautiful water villa, snorkelling, food and alcohol indulgence, it is such a sinful place to be in, almost USD1000 per nite! Every minute spent there is gold.

Counting down~~ hee

Our Home
Key collection is on 16 July, one day after honeymoon! Very good timing as there would not be post-honeymoon blues, and we can get started on our renovation work! I can't wait to get my own place...three stops from Orchard, here I come! Actually key collection already commenced sometime in May, but our block is the last! Sibei sian...but no choice..one good thing is that there would not be so much renovation dust after we move in cuz everyone else has moved in!! wahaha self consolation la!

Family Planning

Cannot imagine being a mother... I need so much attention so how can I share that with my kids??!! The pain, the expenses, and probably family conflicts on how to bring up the child...si bei sian...really enjoy just having the two of us, with Cha devoting all his attention to me...but also scared I too old cannot get preggy easily...Dunno la...but I definitely dun wan a snake baby, cuz I really cannot get along with snakies...like my elder sis...let nature takes its course...sometime next April! haaa~~
