Today we had a very special shopping spree!!! Last min got to know that there is one sales event called the Black Friday which means factory outlets will have midnight special sales that mark the first day of post-Thanksgiving Christmas shopping season every yr. So as true singaporeans, of cuz we must go grab the discounts and stimulate world economy lor~~ After downing coffee at 9pm, we made the one-hr drive to Potomac Mills, hoping to reach earlier than midnight.. To our astonishment when we reach at 11:40pm, there was already a long queue outside the mall waiting in the cold man...lucky we managed to sneak in by a side-door opened by one of the retail shop, so that we don't have to wait in the freezing night weather. When the mall opened the door at 12 midnight,we were utterly shocked to see HERDS of people RUNNING in all directions, making us so confused, and we were so tempted to join in the mad rush to where ever the crowds were going. I think hor, americans is in no way inferior to Singaporeans in terms of kiasuism, seldom see ang mors so gian peng, quite a hilarious sight, should have catch it on video man...
Despite all the mad rush, we still slowly swayed our way to the Coach Outlet and were again very shocked to see the super long queue already forming outside the shop!!! ... My Gosh...we waited for half an hr, before we were let into the shop, kept reprimanding ourselves that we should have dashed for Coach once we were let into the mall, then no need to wait so long... Actually the Black Friday Special for Coach was storewide 20% discount off entire purchase, on top of the outlet discounted price, so quite worth la...Both Cha and I wasted no time in grabbing whateva nice bags we saw to "chop" them first...then slowly select the ones we like...Bought quite a few bags...WAHHHHH~~!!!! SHIOK AH~ but of cuz not all are mine la...got buy for Cha's mum and aunt, my mum and sis also...hmmm now we wonder how we are going to bring all these bulky stuff back to Spore...Also should have seen how those tiongs buy the coach bags, macham free lidat, they bought SO MANY bags that they have to drag the entire load on the floor...gosh..how cum they seem so rich??!!
Also went to some other shops like Tommy Hilfiger to get some sweaters for my sis, polo ralph, banana republic, espirit etc etc...everywhere we see is people, very rare we get to see huge crowds everywhere in the wee hours of the morning, like a normal weekend day lidat...we shopped from 12 midnight to 8 am in the morning, really very shiong ah, tiring man...Had breakfast at McDonald and finally can get my beauty sleep at 10 am, hmmm...happy & satisfied =D

Finally get to do something outdoorsy on Sat!! WEEEEE~ Had terrible rainy weather on the past few sats...very suay one...only sat out of the entire week rained, then Sun to Fri all sunny...
After marketing at HMart, we drove to McHenry Fort which is near Baltimore City, abt 45 min drive...and most impt, it's FOC!! haa...not VERY interesting la..but happy to take a breather outdoor..It's supposed to be a historic fort which had protected Baltimore City from the invasion of Britons in 1814. Yahhh, this is supposed to be a significant attraction in Maryland, so how can we not go??!! Overall...nice, with lots of greenery and sea... But what made us went crazy was the solo tree with autumn leaves...almost all other trees botak liao...left this tree standing with all leaves still intact..ha, so as usual, photo posing time!!! wahahah, had a great time with the tree thou=D
After that we went to this charming historic town called Ellicott City, another attraction which we had missed out all this while. I was quite amazed that such a nice town exists in Maryland! But the shops all antique shops la...dun really suit shopping...We had vegetarian pizzas for lunch...quite nice...considering we went into a vegetarian eatery without knowing it..hehe
Last stop was at Columbia Mall, our favourite hang out...Always so heartwarming to see those puppies in the pet shop...some are so cute...Dinner was at Uno, ambience was good, food was really good too, at an affordable price... spent ard 31 USD for a burger, pasta and soup...Will go there again, cuz din manage to eat my pumpkin tiramisu, too full liao!!
And XMAS IS COMING!!! WEE~~~~ set up our good old xmas tree again, with identical decorations as last yr. Always very happy to see a xmas tree in our home, makes the house feel so much more cherry and festive. Hmm, next time in Spore when we have our own house, we will get a bigger xmas tree and decorate very nicely de!! P.s. Cha...remember to put pressies under the tree every yr wor!! =D

Time for November updates! This month has been so hectic for me as deadlines for projects and assignments are drawing near and submissions are almost back to back lo... However still managed to watch the HK drama series "宫心计", super nice leh...I love to watch such shows with a lot of evil casts and scheming plots one..hehe
Had my semi-annual check up again, heng everything is still stable despite my higher intake of soy milk and chicken recently, simply cannot resist temptations la...Last Sat went shopping at Arundel Mills again, and had iHOP for breakfast and CHAMPS for dinner, shiok! I LOVE PANCAKES FROM IHOP!!!
This Sat is more unique, woke up before 6am, hopefully can witness Wyn's proposal process, hehe, but too bad, missed the actual process cuz timing dun match, but still got video cam with pinkies after the proposal...haha...all of them are still the same, all start chattering at the same time, so most of the times they cannot hear what I'm saying cuz they too engrossed in themselves liao...haha...funny, so missed all these chattering and 38ing together lo...
So happy for wyn today, she's accepted zy's proposal today liao! Wyn and zy are such a perfect match!!! Wahahah, with ah hei, they make a perfect family together lo...
Since today we up so early, we went out marketing earlier so that we can start our sat date on an earlier note. Had wanted to do some sightseeing today at the Baltimore area, but weather too cloudy, so may be postponed to next Sat, ended up watching 2012 at a super early promotion price and settling our dinner at TGIF today, got a promotion $20 can get 2 mains and one appetizer, quite worth, although portion was too small for Cha's liking...
