Our weekly visits to H Mart~The place where we spent 50 bucks every visit, haizzz

Fresh Fish (we eat almost three times a week, healthy hor)

I miss durians!! Durians here so ex, 5 USD for a few pieces...

I love maggie mee!
But we seldom buy here, we bought at the chinese supermarket where they are cheaper~

Tiger prawns (quite cheap so we almost eat every week, hee)

Fresh leafy vegetables~

So many varieties of fruits!
Cha picking a cantaloupe (with his unruly hair)
H-Mart is more oriented towards korean food, but nonetheless, we can find many of our essentials here. We also frequent another chinese super market called Kam Sam, but it's around once every three weeks to replenish our canned food, buns, and porridge appetizers. The chai beng and bakery over there are also my favourite...Many vegetables there are more expensive than H Mart though their maggie mee is cheaper...our weekly grocery bill can sometimes reach a hundred plus USD! Gosh~
(Cha's company, quickly send us money leh!
#%$&^%$#@$%)
Toiletries are usually from Target, while other food like bananas, salads, juices, eggs and chicken are usually bought from Safeway, where their prices are very marked up, but more classy, like Cold Storage... Bo bian leh..my eggs and chicken need to be those hormone-free one, which are more costly and cannot be found in H-Mart or Kam Sam...haiz...moi have expensive lifestyle-_-
This is how we spend our weekends early in the morning...but I quite enjoy grocery shopping=D
Will update our next Kam Sam visit again, to be continued soon...

Wah...it just rained hailstones!!! In spring?? Heard a funny sound of something hitting the window, so went out to have a look, surprised to see small round mothballs pouring from the sky and piling outside the window, I even tot the maintenance staff dropped a bag of moth balls from the roof... hehe..but hor they melt! So I checked the weather forecast, it was indeed raining hailstones today...hehe..lucky I was not outside, should be quite painful to be hit by ice cubes..but Cha was..hehe..

Dunno y I have so many group assignments with xiao hei, I really don't like working with them especially for this particular stats class. This lazy bum always expect the group to teach him everything, even though the lecturer went through very comprehensively through a few examples. It's obvious he never pay attention in class lar! Like to dream so much come to class for wat? Then expect the rest of us go thru step by step again with you meh, now exams coming, papers due, really not much time to entertain you lor, I already sent my working file over, he still got the cheek to say no one has ever given him help on this homework... even all the stuff can be found in the course materials. Damn lazy bug. I'm beginning to understand the basis for discrimination... Typical prototype of social loafer. oh yah..and a brilliant excuse king for not doing their parts. The best part is when one said his friend got murdered and had to be excused for that week's group assignment. But subsequently, for next 12 weeks, he only submitted his homework in one of the week, so..can't be bothered to hear his excuses anymore.
But one good news is..my parents are coming to visit me...hehe..now compiling a list of stuff for them to bring over..They joining a tour grp to sightsee San Fran, LA, Las Vegas that region for 11 days before flying over here to stay with us for another 2 weeks... Yaay...but my place here is damn boring, must think of many activities for them, esp my mum don't understand english tv shows...

Went to the Cherry Blossoms Festival in Washington DC today...Cherry Blossoms??? In Washington??? I'm also super amazed that we have cherry blossoms trees here! 2000 of them somemore...wheeeeee!! Since I've yet to have chance to go to Japan to see sakura, I'm overjoyed to see SO MANY cherry blossoms around...wahahah..we can see cherry blossoms everywhere in DC area, in the park, surrounding the lake, lining the streets, even in our school compounds! But their full bloom season is rather short, I think, cuz the festival only lasts around two weeks... So I kept pestering Cha to bring me to see sakuras, and so finally, Chaaa took some time out of his bz schedule (and mine as well) to go for a cherry blossom walk on our 42nd monthly anniversary (also wyn's bday as well..hehe). Really beautiful trees... Really wish they will last longer. Too bad weather is very gloomy today, it has been raining the past few days since Spring arrived. But the gloom has been overwhelmed by the beautiful park dotted by the pinky trees, and we both decided that next year this time we can take our bridal shots here~ hee..hope it's feasible lo... Uploaded many pics of cherry blossoms here, cuz I simply love the pinky background =D
