Will be travelling to Boston and Canada in less than 24 hrs time...Weeeeeeeeeeeee!!! Boston being one of the most hit swine flu area in the US, we definitely have to practice good hygiene habits and avoid crowds, especially this is the first destination of the trip... very sian if *touchwood* kana any flu before we can even enter Canada...But I'm fully equipped with all kinds of medications to counter any illnesses..wahahha..can open mini pharmacy liao...
Pray weather will be good throughout our trip, wun spend too much $$, and car is in good working condition throughout the journey...Also hope Cha can finish all his work before we embark on this long distance travelling, or else like the previous trip, he will be working till midnight at our accommodations, leaving me alone to watch tv...but this time round, I will be bringing my twilight book to finish it, just in case cha dun have time for me again...humph~

YAAYY!!!! We finally, finally got a flat. It's the PEAK at Toa Payoh! Although our original preference was in the west-central area, but this location is really good too, only 3 stops away from Orchard Road!!! And we are just 5 minutes walk away from either Braddell or Toa Payoh Stations...wow..I have never stayed in such a central location before, but the only gripes we have is that our new home is so far away from our parents and friends. And hor, it's completed only in May 2012!!! OMG... Lucky I will still be only 28 at that time, but not for Cha who will be old man liao...hehehe..
We will be staying on the 26th floor which is a five room flat with 2 balconies and one of them is actually inside the master bedroom! Our living room will be facing the MacRitchie Reservoir, a nice water view which is supposed to represent good feng shui. It is really pricey, more than 600k, but given the location and that much of the amenities (flooring, aircon, cabinets, etc) are provided for, we hope that this will be a good investment =D How I wish I were in Singapore now, so that we can go re-cee the area around our future home and witness the milestones of how our home is slowly built from scratch...
We really never thought we will get this flat, cuz we just want to blast this chance off so that our next balloting will have double chances upon hitting 3 unsuccessful ballotings. Our queue number is 200+ for the 1209 number of units available, which means we have a good selection at hand... And we are really happy to get it after much failures in our previous ballotings... And to think that all major central locations are closely within reach make the long wait worthwhile (I hope)... But this means we may have to push back our wedding date liao...
Still got a lot to settle, esp the cumbersome paperwork and loan applications...
FINALLY~ We are going to get our very first home =D
And this is one of my happiest moment in my life~

hmm...dunno whether the actual outlook for my house is the same as pic or not...

The bedroom looks cozy too~
